Dear Parishioners,  

This coming Thursday, August 15th, we will celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation. This feast day honors the belief that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was taken up body and soul into Heaven at the end of her earthly life. This event signifies her special role in salvation history and her eternal closeness to her Son, Jesus Christ. 

The Assumption is a reminder of the promise of eternal life and the hope that we, too, will one day be united with God in Heaven. As we honor Mary’s Assumption, we are invited to reflect on her role as our heavenly Mother and seek her intercession for our own spiritual journey. 

The Mass schedule will be as follows: 

• Wednesday, August 14th: Vigil Mass at 6:30 PM (English) 

• Thursday, August 15th: Masses at 6:30 AM (English), 8:30 AM (English)

•  Thursday, August 15th:  Mass at 6:30 PM (Bilingual) 

We invite you to join us in celebrating this important feast day. Let us come together in prayer and gratitude for the grace and guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Un Mensaje de Su Párraco

Estimados feligreses,  

El próximo jueves 15 de agosto celebraremos la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María, día de precepto. Esta festividad honra la creencia de que María, la Madre de Jesús, fue llevada en cuerpo y alma al cielo al final de su vida terrenal. Este evento significa su papel especial en la historia de la salvación y su eterna cercanía a su Hijo, Jesucristo. 

La Asunción es un recordatorio de la promesa de vida eterna y de la esperanza de que algún día también nosotros estaremos unidos con Dios en el Cielo. Al honrar la Asunción de María, estamos invitados a reflexionar sobre su papel como nuestra Madre celestial y a buscar su intercesión para nuestro propio camino espiritual. 

El horario de misas será el siguiente: 

• Miércoles 14 de Agosto: Misa de Vigilia a las 6:30 PM (inglés) 

• Jueves 15 de Agosto: Misa a las 6:30 a. m. (inglés)

• Jueves 15 de Agosto: Misa a las 8:30 a. m. (inglés) 

• Jueves 15 de  Agosto: Misa 6:30 p. m. (bilingüe)
