The Sacrament of Confirmation
In the Catholic Church, Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of Christian initiation, along with Baptism and the Eucharist. Confirmation is essential because our candidates receive the Holy Spirit and become "Soldiers of Christ" as members of the Church.
2024-2025 Schedule
Adult Confirmation
For adults 18 years or older who would like to receive the sacrament of Confirmation,the Religious Education Office of St. Gregory the Great will start accepting adult registration for Formation Classes for the Sacrament of Confirmation on October 15, 2024.
Starting in January 2025, the program entails committing to a (6) six-day, one and a half (1 1/2) hour course held in the evenings. It is offered in English or Spanish. This program is a requirement for adults who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation.The registration form is available to download. Registration is through the Parish Office only and would need the following: Completed Registration Form. Copy of the individual baptismal Certificate Copy of the Individual's First Communion Certificate Registration fee of $100
